Hi, I’m Dr. Brandon Czekaj. I was born and raised in Michigan. I always knew I wanted to work in the health care profession. However, I did not find chiropractic care until my junior year in college. I was still struggling with a hockey related injury I suffered from a few years prior. After only a short time under chiropractic care my condition improved greatly. It was not until I was amazed on how much chiropractic helped me, that I realized it was my calling to be a Chiropractor. I graduated from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH with a bachelor degree in natural science majoring in Biology while participating on Xavier’s club hockey team. From there I attended Life University in Atlanta, GA and graduated cum laude with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. During and after Chiropractic school I was lucky to go on three Chiropractic mission trips to El Salvador providing Chiropractic services to hundreds of people in remote and underserved areas. After graduation I opened a successful practice just outside of Atlanta, GA. After some time in Georgia I decided to move to Virginia to be closer to family.
I graduated from Life University as a Chiropractor with a Doctorate in Chiropractic. I am a Board Certified Doctor of Chiropractic with licenses in both Maryland and Virginia. Due to my interest in sports I continued my education and am now a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practioner®, I am able to treat athletes of all ages and levels. I strive to provide my patients with the most advanced and effective chiropractic treatment while using a whole person approach to his methods.
I have continued to expand my knowledge since graduation in a variety of areas. My post graduate focus included classes for neurology, sports medicine and Chiropractic Biophysics (CBP). Fine tuning the ideal posture for the human body and using techniques for correcting spinal misalignments help his patients live a much better life.
I have extensive experience caring for patients who have been injured during car accidents. I specialize in treating and managing injuries to joints, ligaments, muscles and nerves . I have proven to be able to effectively treat and help manage different acute injuries and chronic conditions. Some of the techniques utilized include diversified full spine, Thompson drop table, Graston Technique®, spinal decompression and instrument adjustment techniques.
You may find me at the local Kettler Iceplex where I am actively involved in their weekly ice hockey community. A sense of community and an active lifestyle has always been important to me.
